Tee Time Policy
Public golfers are able to make tee times 1 week in advance. If you are interested in making more than 2 tee times, please give us a call. We consider these tee times advanced bookings and we will require a credit card number to hold tee times. All deposits on tee times are applied to your final bill. All tee times can be made by calling our Western Lakes Golf Shop at (262) 691-0900 x1.
Golf Course Dress Code
Western Lakes requires that soft spikes are worn. We do not require a collared shirt; however, a shirt must be worn at all times.
Raincheck Policy
Western Lakes will issue rain checks for the following reasons only: Golf course has been deemed ‘unplayable’ according to USGA rules or there is a severe threat of weather (lightening, damaging winds, tornado etc.) A 9 or 18 hole rain check will be issued if you have played less than 5 holes, dependent on green fees paid. All rain checks are good until the end of the season, unless otherwise noted.
Golf Course Guests
Everyone on the golf course is required to have a set of golf clubs, pay the applicable golf rate, and follow the other policies set by Western Lakes.
Non-Playing Guests
Anyone wishing to accompany a golfer on the course must take a golf cart which is subject to golf cart fees. Carts for riding guests will be allowed based on cart availability. Walking guests and children under the age of 8 are not allowed on the golf course for safety reasons.
Junior Golfers
Unaccompanied junior golfers must be at least 14 years of age. Juniors under age 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Special rates for junior golfers are available only at certain times, otherwise, normal rates apply.
Golf Carts
You must be at least 16 years of age and possess a driver’s license to rent or drive a golf cart. The driver of the golf cart is responsible for any damage or injuries caused to any persons or property.
Pace of Play
Western Lakes schedules tee times based on the premise that all rounds be played at a pace of between 2 hours and 2 hours 10 minutes, per 9 holes. Any golfers with difficulty keeping that pace may be asked to pick up their ball and skip ahead to get back on pace. Any 18-hole round played in over 4 hours and 30 minutes is considered unacceptable.
Tee Time Pairings
Western Lakes books tee times as foursomes and reserves the right to fill in groups with fewer than four players. Additionally, we reserve the right to adjust your time by +/- 10 minutes for us to maximize our tee sheet. Fivesomes are not allowed on the golf course unless given prior authorization from a manager.
Cancellation Policy
Please call the golf shop a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your tee time so we can make space available for other players. IMPORTANT: If you arrive with fewer players than reserved, or do not show up for your tee time – we reserve the right to charge for the round(s) that could have been sold to other golfers.
Food & Alcoholic Beverages
WI State Statute 125.32 prohibits anyone from bringing their own alcoholic beverages to a golf course. Any alcoholic beverages brought onto the property may be confiscated and the person(s) involved may be asked to leave without a refund.
